Prospective undergraduate students should first visit the University of Miami's main Coral Gables campus, where they will take the majority of their classes. A general tour of the campus, offered by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions can be booked online by clicking here .
Available Tours / Information Sessions
Tour (1): This tour is hosted by the Undergraduate Admissions department. This is a general tour of the University of Miami main campus, and is suitable for a student interested in any major. The accompanying information session provides general information about the University of Miami. This tour is offered on week days at 10am and 1pm. To register for the Admissions tour click here .
Tour (2): This information session is hosted by the Rosenstiel School Undergraduate Program Office on the Coral Gables campus. The session provides specific information regarding the undergraduate marine, atmospheric, and geological science majors.

Tour (3): This tour is hosted by the Rosenstiel School Office of Engagement. This is a guided tour of the Rosenstiel School campus that showcases the research facilities and graduate campus, as well as highlights opportunities for both undergraduate and graduate research. Guided Rosenstiel School tours are available on weekdays at 2:30pm by appointment only. Please note that tours must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance. We do not accept walk-ins. Heidi Van Buskirk: completed her Master of Professional Science Degree (MPS) in Marine Conservation at the Rosenstiel School in Spring 2020. Her MPS thesis focused on enhancing digital communications for NOAA's Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory in Miami, FL. *Please note that prospective undergraduates interested in registering for the Rosenstiel School Guided Tour must also attend the Information Session held by the Rosenstiel Undergraduate Program Office. All three tours can be scheduled for the same day. If you’d like to attend all three tours in one day, we recommend registering for the 10am UM Admissions Tour.
Our campus is small, but we recommend wearing comfortable shoes and clothing for hot/humid weather. You may consider bringing accessories such as a water bottle (fountains located around campus), a hat, sunscreen, and bug spray, for the outdoor portion of the tour.
